Discontinue beginning of hour readings if the Net is busy with traffic)(1) “This is,” (your call), “with the Franklin County Emergency Network-Operations Net. This Net has been established for the (name of drill/event).”(pause)(2) “Your Net Control station is,” (give your callsign, then give your callsign phonetically) and my name is,” (give your name).(pause)(3) “This is a directed Net. Please use normal Net procedure and give emergency traffic priority at all times. Please keep non event-related traffic to a minimum unless otherwise advised by Net Control.”(pause)(4a) (If this is the opening of the Net, go to ‘Script B‘)(4b) (If this is the beginning of the hour mark, go to ‘Script A‘)(end)(Script A=:10, :30 and :40 minute mark of each hour, and the beginning of every hour)(The reading of this script can be suspended if the Net is busy with traffic)(1) “This is, “ (your callsign) “Net Control for the Franklin County Emergency Network-Operations Net.”(pause)(2) “The Net is standing by for any traffic.
